MNP was first launched in Haryana in India last November. The customer will pay a maximum of Rs 19 new entrants to switch networks and the new operator has the possibility of tax exemption or reduction. But the minimum stay period with an operator for the consumer is three months. Consumers and postpaid and prepaid can use MNP.
