Poinsettia Originated From Christmas stars originated in time. It is believed that the factory became known for its popular name of poinsettia around. Native to Mexico poinsettia originated in the area near the present city of Taxco. Joel Robert Poinsett, a botanist and plantation owner of the South, was first appointed.
